Academy Award®-nominated actress Queen Latifah will be a presenter at the 79th Academy Awards®, telecast producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

In 2002, for the 75th Academy Awards, Queen Latifah received her 1st Oscar nomination for her supporting performance in Chicago. She was seen recently in Stranger Than Fiction and will be seen next in Hairspray. Queen Latifah’s other film credits include Last Holiday, Beauty Shop, Taxi, Bringing Down the House, Brown Sugar, Living Out Loud and Set It Off.

Latifah joins fellow actors Ben Affleck, Jessica Biel, Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Abigail Breslin, Steve Carell, George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Tom Cruise, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, Will Ferrell, Jodie Foster, Eva Green, Tom Hanks, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Diane Keaton, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Tobey Maguire, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, John Travolta, Rachel Weisz, Kate Winslet and Reese Witherspoon as a presenter on the show.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2006 will be presented on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®.

The Oscars® will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST (8 p.m. EST), beginning with a half-hour red carpet arrivals segment, The Road to the Oscars.
