When she’s not channeling her inner punk/rock goddess on her Washburn electric guitar, Aida can be found screaming at the telly for Man United manager David Moyes to put Shinji Kagawa on in a good ol’ football match. If you see her with starry eyes facing her Macbook (which she named Matt), she’s probably catching up on whatever’s hot in the Korean entertainment scene – without subtitles. Being at the bottom of the food chain at The New Paper newsroom as an intern taught Aida more about life than writing skills for a tabloid, and now pressure barely gets to her. She thrives under it, or at least that’s what her editor said. When she’s not on UrbanWire, she’s probably tweeting witty (sort of) one-liners on @AIDAJHN
To fairly assess Midnight Memories, you have to understand that this third album was released in a hectic 2 years from the beginning of One Direction’s meteoric success.
K-pop group EXO graced the stage – much to the excitement of the “Exotics” – at the MTV World Stage 2013. The group, whose set was the shortest of the lot, probably had the biggest cheers.
