As French-born novelist and short-story author Anais Nin said, “If you do not cry out or sing in writing, then don’t write. The role of the writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say.” With music and writing as pivots in Beatrice’s world, finding the right words to capture someone’s story is a key she hopes to unlock in future. Believing in the importance of escaping to a fantasy world, her late nights are spent reading random fiction books, from discovering the terrifying truth in murder and crime novels to empathizing with the tense family drama and heart wrenching forbidden romance, so as to not “judge a book by its cover”. The same can be said of her. Because beneath her quiet demeanor, she secretly harbors the desire to experience the life of a superstar like American singer-songwriter, Beyoncé.
