A lover of wit and the arts, Clarence is drawn to profound minds and great innovators such as M.C. Escher and Edgar Allan Poe. A firm believer of the adage, “Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers”, he revels in the unorthodox and those dedicated to their craft, and hopes to fill those huge shoes one day. Having been plagued by the constant need to create and write has led Clarence down the road as a contributor to music e-zine MoshinMag.com as well as a few fitfully written anon articles on ThoughtCatalog.com. After interning as a designer in Inspire Design (a unit of M:idea), he has nurtured a passion for design, delighting in its subjectivity and ambivalence. An immensely aural creature, Clarence spends his hours discovering obscure bands and artistes like the 3-piece rock band The Winery Dogs, or The Aristocrats, the eclectic instrumental threesome led by his guitar idol, Guthrie Govan. Besides music, Clarence also loves to immerse himself in clean-cut, minimalism. Being a nocturnal beast, on many a late night he can be found poring over the most recent fashion articles from FashionBeans.com, or voraciously scanning some of the latest works from his modern design muse, George Bokhua. He believes design to be expressions of an individual’s personality and idiosyncrasies, a prologue of everyone’s distinctive story.
