An ambivert, Gowri believes in the healing powers of manners, conversation, food and deep-seated relationships. When she is not reading the works of Lisa See, Anita Desai and Haruki Murakami, she is indulging in her love for cheese, eggs, green tea, cherry tomatoes and chocolate Danishes. Her taste in music runs the gamut from jazz, funk, R&B, electronic, alternative and neo-soul, to Korean hip-hop, indie and pop. To her, make-up is not just an art – it’s a science. She also likes teaching babies to give flying kisses. Her goals are to be at peace with herself as much as possible and to love what the world has to offer. Gowri wishes to know the anonymous writer of her favourite quote. “Life is like a piano. The white keys represent happiness, and the black keys represent sadness. But as you go through life, remember, the black keys make music too.”
