Born to a family of foodies, Jolene, to no one’s surprise, loves to eat good food and she’s willing travel for more than an hour by bus to the ends of Singapore just to find the best tasting “Wanton Mee”, a local noodle dish with meat and a unique chilli sauce, if time permits. Despite not being very proficient, Jolene has picked up Spanish, Japanese and Korean to be able to communicate and understand the culture of people around the world. Being a fan of the arts, Jolene finds time to visit art and music events to get lost in their beauty. Music is one thing she can’t live without and she constantly tries to seek new fresh tunes to fill her never-ending playlist. In her free time, she loves to grab her film camera/trusty iphone and roam the streets in search of something inspiring to capture. Having come from a Public Relations internship, where she had to write a great many press releases, Jolene wants to try being on the other side to try a fresh new journey into the world of writing as she describes it.
