Valerie is a self-confessed TV, and sometimes, movie addict but has yet
to go to rehab (sing: but I say ‘no, no, no’) because she doesn’t see
her obsession as a problem, but rather, as an interesting hobby and a
great ice-breaker (“Hey, did you catch How I Met Your Mother this week?”). When she’s not watching TV shows on her Mac, she’s likely to be curled up
with a good chick-lit or listening to music from the likes of The
Beatles, Oasis and many other bands. After a 5-month stint writing for The Straits Times Life!, she has big dreams of one day becoming a journalist or maybe one of the rich and famous celebrities journalists write about. (She’s semi-joking about the latter.)
