Founded in 2016 by Ryo Goh and Ryan Lim, a couple in their early 30s, Keepsake By Ryo is known for making jewellery such as necklaces, rings and bracelets out of their customers’ breast milk, or their babies’ umbilical cords and hair.

Most of the duo’s customers are mothers who want their breast milk preserved and made into jewellery centrepieces to remember their breastfeeding journey.

The couple dedicated many sleepless nights to find a way to preserve and solidify breast milk. With the help of a relative who is a chemist, they managed to successfully develop a resin formula to preserve the breast milk.
