Mdm Haslindah Kassuan’s daughter, Haszleen Nelydia, has a rare genetic disorder called MELAS, which is short for Mitochondrial Encephalopathy, Lactic Acidosis and Stroke-like episodes.

The condition tends to affect the brain, nervous system and muscles. It is progressive and has no known cure yet.
