Located at The Gatherspace in The Great Hall, the Neighbourhood Market is running from April to June this year, with the next event over the weekend of 28-30 April from 11.00am – 8.30pm. Together with Whytespace, a local boutique market organiser, they have gathered local creative brands from across the region in one place to showcase their products and encourage passion for local crafts.

Heads up! Millenia Walk will feature a new theme every month, from now till Apr 30, look forward to an exciting array of coffee-related brands and workshops!

Of course, we weren’t as graceful as Mr Koh in brewing the coffee and pouring the latte art, however, we tried our best! Take a peek at our videographer Elena trying out latte art for the first time!

We also went for a soap-crafting session over at Kith Cafe where Ms Melissa Lam, founder of Bamboo Straw Girl, an earth-minded social enterprise and lifestyle store, taught us the dos and don’ts of soap crafting.

After the session, we managed to snag some handmade goodies from Ms Lam herself! It was a truly fun and engaging session where we learnt the difference between soap-making versus soap-crafting, as well as the different techniques of soap-crafting.

Apart from workshops, shoppers can keep their eyes peeled for exclusive merchandise designed by current artist-in-residence, Oak & Bindi, which can be redeemed when they hit minimum spending!
