Home-based learning during the Covid-19 circuit breaker period has been a great experience for 11-year-old Evan Chan.
“You can spend more time with your family and…you can eat home-cooked food throughout the whole day,” the primary school boy says.
It helps that he has no problem understanding his teachers’ instructions and following the classes online. In fact, “everything has been going smooth” for him so far.
Of course, there are other students who much prefer to return to campus to meet their teachers and friends in person. But with the circuit breaker period extended till June 1 and only small groups of graduating students allowed to return to school from May 19, most primary schoolers will still be learning from home.
In this video interview, The UrbanWire asked 7 of them to share what could be done to make their home-based learning experience more engaging and enjoyable. Check it out.
