One of the best DJs of trance and techno, Dave Lea, is now in Singapore for another round of Gatecrasher partying at Ministry of Sound (MOS) on Mar 17.
The last Gatecrasher event was held on Oct 28, 2006 at MOS by DJ GTR, also known as DJ GT. Even for those of you who don’t like either genres, Lea’s adrenaline-pumping music style will get you grooving in no time. Known as the man behind the success of UK nightclub, Slinky, Lea has all the experience needed to make a real heart-pounding party anywhere in the world. In 2004, Asian countries and capitals like Singapore, KL and Tokyo have called him back regularly to operate their monthly clubs. Even countries like Brazil love his music. The Slinky brand manager has even set up franchises in party capitals like Ibiza. With a string of massive events under his name such as Two Tribes ( in Melbourne for 25,000 people), Advent Jah (in Brisbane for 14,000 people), it’s no wonder he gets called back regularly.
According to an interview he gave to ‘The DJ List’ website, one of his most memorable events would be “watching the sun come up through the glass dome roof of the Plaza of Nations in Vancouver with 8000 people still going strong at 7 am”. Some of his studio works include promoting the highly successful Slinky album series, and mixing the newest Planet Tokyo CD, which sold 50,000 copies internationally. So don’t miss your chance. Get down to MOS on Mar 17 and catch Dave Lea live!
