It was difficult for Ryan to have a good appetite while recovering from Covid-19 in the treatment facility.

Everything he ate tasted like soap or cardboard, the Ngee Ann student recalled. Loss of smell and changes in taste are among the more obvious signs of a Covid-19 infection.

In an audio interview, Ryan shared how he and several members of his family beat the virus. He also spoke about his anxiety over the disruption to his internship, and how he overcame it with the support from the school and his company.
