As part of the lead up to *SCAPE’s official launch programme in June, the FRANK GAMBALE ELECTRIC TRIO will perform in Singapore for the first time this May, in an exclusive showcase.

Grammy-nominated twice, Frank Gambale is renowned as ‘The Grand Master of the Sweep Picking Technique’. Born and raised in Canberra, Australia, he began playing the guitar at 7. His influences are Jimi Hendrix, John Mayall / Eric Clapton, and the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia. In his mid teens, what nudged him into a jazzy direction was the discovery of Steely Dan, The Brecker Brothers and Chick Corea. He worked with Corea for several years.
