Presenting heavy metal band Lamb of God’s latest album, WRATH. Wrath, the sixth studio album to reach Singapore, was released on 24 Feb. It secured #2 on the Billboard 200s, with sales exceeding 68,000 in its first week.

This time in the latest album, Lamb of God is going to surprise people. This album was deliberately made more aggressive and raw compared to their previous record, Sacrament.

As usual, the band will be using their unique timing patterns and odd rhythms, partnered with lots of riffing to make this record memorable for all. By using a cleaner tone than usual, the band is getting into the mind-set that clean is actually heavy and clarity is a lot heavier than oversaturated.

Also, get ready for more of Chris Alder’s (drummer) intensive playing style with lots of double kicks. When asked how Wrath differs from other previous records, he said,” This new stuff is heavy duty. This album is going to be more aggressive than the last two. We want to get back to the nasty stuff.”

Also, don’t forget Randy Blythe’s deep growled vocals, shrill screams, and baritone singing. It is definitely going to make your body move.

Due to the variety of influences, stylistic elements and changes throughout the band’s career, Lamb of God will continue surprising all it’s fans and make an impact to the New wave of American heavy metal.
