For years, America has been the source of constant entertainment with their late night talk & comedy shows such as the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, the Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live, but now, Asia has her own version.
Asia Uncut airs on STAR WORLD (Starhub Channel 18) on Fridays at 11.30pm with an encore on Sundays at 10pm.
Hosted by Jon Niermann, the show invites mostly famous and interesting personalities, treating them to the unique experience that is Asia Uncut, which is fresh, fun and fascinating.
The Pan-Asian English speaking Chat-show features celebrities such as Maggie Q, Brendon Fraser and Asian personalities like Van Ness Wu and our own Fann Wong.
Jon Niermann not only hosts the show but also involves himself in the scriptwriting and producing aspects. He has been based in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore, and currently resides in Shanghai. With his vast experience in Asian cultures and his own brand of humour, there is certainly no one else more suitable to bring Asia Uncut to greater heights.
The show is uncensored, so any reactions (or lack thereof, in the case of Van Ness Wu of F4 fame) are there for the audience to savour. With its West meets East concept, Asia Uncut definitely appeals to everybody Asian.
