Highly amused by quaint bits and baubles, Carisser is occasionally compelled by racks of stationery and stickers into entering craft stores. Foreign magazines are Carisser’s guilty pleasure, and she buys an average of 5 monthly (ELLE UK, Esquire and Monocle, to name a few). Her argument for spending up to $25 for a copy: one must constantly upgrade/ update herself about the goings on in the world of art, fashion and beauty. Though often labelled “crap”, her magazines, miniatures (of tea sets and candleholders) and stuffed Totoro toy are believed to come in handy some day. Till then, her greatest challenge would be finding an indefinite space for it all.
