As a city-girl and avid shopaholic, Orchard Road has always been my go-to destination for a shopping retreat. The captivating retail displays and exquisite boutiques never fail to allure me. Among the upscale malls in Singapore, none embodies luxury quite like Paragon Shopping Centre. It is a mall that is often referred to as “Atas”, a Malay term representing the epitome of elegance and sophistication.

Taking pride of place in the heart of Orchard Road, Paragon is renowned for housing prestigious luxury brands spanning fashion, sports, lifestyle, and beyond. However, my recent walkabout revealed that Paragon is more than just a haven for luxury shopping; it harbours hidden gems that cater to visitors of all ages and interests. Joining a guided tour, I discovered four spots for you to curate the perfect day out or date in town.

1. Saint Laurent’s Pop-Up (Level 1, Atrium 2)

Embark on a luxurious shopping experience at Saint Laurent’s pop-up store, the latest addition to Paragon. Adorned with an array of elegant bags, wallets, and accessories, this eye-catching booth invites you to explore their exquisite collection. The friendly staff are more than happy to assist you in trying on the items and even offer styling advice! Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity, as the pop-up will only be available until 30th September 2023.

2. The Hair Shop (Level 5, #05-06)

Take a moment for self-care at The Hair Shop, which has been a beloved tenant at Paragon for an impressive 37 years. Founded by Gina Lau, the stalwart salon caters to customers of all ages, including celebrities like Sandy Lam. A wide range of services are offered, ranging from hair styling to makeup and nail treatments. What’s more, their use of ammonia-free hair dye and plant-based products ensures a healthier and more enjoyable pampering experience!

3. Anta Basketball (Level 4, #04-18/19)

If you’re on a date with a basketball enthusiast, keep them engaged at Anta Basketball, a branch of ANTA Sports, which is exclusive to Paragon.

As China’s leading sports brand, Anta offers a range of functional and technology-driven sports products. However, the store’s highlight lies in its specialised basketball apparel and shoes, featuring merchandise from basketball icons such as Klay Thompson!

The Paragon store specialises in basketball apparel and shoes, while its outlet at Vivocity offers a selection of yoga attire and a collection for kids.
