Find out what the Directors of Thai box office hit Shutter have to say about their new film Alone at Blog Aloud held after a 7pm preview screening at Golden Village Cinema Europa on 20 Jul (Fri).
Mr Parkpoon Wongpoom and Mr Banjong Pisanthanakun will share about their experiences and answer any questions film enthusiast may have regarding the film. Actress Marsha Wathanapanitch will also participate in this Blog Aloud session organised by Golden Village (GV).
The event is open to public and tickets aren’t required to attend the talk after the movie screening. However, fans and critiques alike may choose to pay $10 for the tickets to the Alone movie preview. The Blog Aloud session will be held after the film screening at 8.45pm and will last for 45 min. Alone will start screening in cinemas islandwide from 26 Jul.
Alone tells the story of Pim (who’s the actress), who used to be part of a pair of Siamese twins. After returning to Thailand to visit her ill-stricken mother, she has flashbacks of painful memories and realises that the “warmth” she feels is because she is not alone. And this is just the beginning of a horrifying realisation that Pim will never be allowed to ever forget event’s that don’t want to be forgotten.
Blog Aloud @ Cinema Europa aims to foster deeper understanding and appreciation of filmmaking between the movie audience and the filmmaker. GV will feature Blog Aloud @ Cinema Europa as a regular programme, where filmmakers are invited to a free 45 min sharing session with film enthusiasts after the preview of the filmmaker’s latest film.
Following Alone‘s Blog Aloud @ Cinema Europa, 2 more sessions are scheduled: Gone Shopping (25 Jul) with director Wee Li Lin and producer Fazila Zainol Abideen and881 (Aug) with director Royston Tan.
