Jordie is a specially-trained 6-year-old guide dog who serves as the eyes of his handler, Mr Gary Lim, since May 2015.

Owning a guide dog doesn’t come cheap. Lessons for the guide dog and its blind handler cost approximately $50,000, according to Guide Dog Singapore, a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation.

Guide dogs are allowed in public spaces including buses and trains. But are commuters aware of this? Do they know what they can and can’t do when they see a guide dog team?
