Many young Singaporeans have turned their hobbies into online businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of them is Faythe, a 21-year-old student from Murdoch University. She started Faythebakes on Instagram and operates from her home kitchen.

While being able to sell her own bakes is satisfying, she admits it can be difficult to stand out “as the market is oversaturated”.
