To kick off Oscar Week®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present Shorts!, a program featuring the 10 Academy Award®-nominated films in the Animated and Live Action Short Film categories, on Feb 20, at 7:30 pm at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The program, hosted by Academy Award-winning producer-director Taylor Hackford, will feature onstage discussions with the nominated filmmakers (subject to availability).

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2006 will be presented on Feb 25 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 pm PST (8 pm EST), beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment, The Road to the Oscars.
