Orchard Road comes alive this festive season once again and this time, it’s not just the annual Christmas sales that will keep you jolly.

From Dec 15 to Dec 25, beautifully decorated floats of various themes will make a grand entrance as they parade through Orchard Road at various times. UrbanWire was lucky to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous parade at 8pm one beautiful night. Crowds of people lined the streets just to watch these floats pass by, and wave back to the participants on the floats. A very lively affair that gathers the nation with its lights and colours, this parade is one that is not to be missed! And we has just the tip for you, if you notice a few traffic police officers on their motorbikes zipping by cordoning traffic and clearing up the streets, just stop what you’re doing and rush down to the side of the road. The Christmas parade is coming.
