1. Sneaker Art Jamming

Want to go for art jamming with a twist? 

Artistra Studio may have the answer for you. Here, art jamming is done on a different kind of canvas – white sneakers. 

There are two options available. You can either bring your old pair of shoes for the workshop or go with the new sneakers provided there. 

This is a guided art jamming workshop, so don’t worry if you’re a total newbie at painting. But of course, feel free to unleash your inner Van Gogh if you wish to.

2. Ice-Cream Making Class

Want to make your own ice-cream so you can create your own crazy flavour combinations? 

At Tom’s Palette’s class, you’ll learn to make ice cream from scratch without the use of an ice-cream maker.

The class will introduce you to the ingredients used in the process. You’ll be bringing home the ice-cream that you make, an instruction booklet of six easy recipes and a recap of the information learned during the class.

Throughout the class, you can also indulge in an ice-cream buffet from their menu.

Do note that you have to sign up as a pair for the ice-cream making class. Also, Tom’s Palette is not Halal-certified.

3. DIY Fluid Bear

Fluid bears have been the talk of town lately with more and more videos on TikTok showing paint being poured over a white bear figurine. If you want to jump on the bandwagon, check out Mercure Decoration & Crafting (MDC).

MDC offers three different types of bears – Gloomy Bear, Bearbrick and KAWS. There are four different sizes available for each bear and an unlimited colour selection. If you can’t go down to their store, fret not. MDC has a delivery package option where you can customise your fluid bear from the comfort of your own home.

4. Candle Making Workshop

Are you a candle lover but find buying candles too expensive? You can learn how to make your very own soy scented candle instead at By Tee and Co

The workshop will teach you general candle care and equip you with the basic skills to make your own soy scented candle at home. You’ll also be exposed to different varieties of fragrances, wax and wicks.

There are two different packages available. Package A includes the making of a scented soy wax diffuser whereas package B includes the making of a jesmonite craft, either a trinket box with lid or coasters.

5. Pottery Class

There are four different classes available at Am I Addicted pottery studio: the quick wheel throwing trial class, two different standard classes and the seasonal class.

As the name suggests, the quick wheel throwing trial class is a quick yet effective way for you to experience wheel throwing for the first time in an hour. 

The standard classes, on the other hand, allows you to fully experience the technique of either basic wheel throwing or handbuilding in two hours. 

This season’s seasonal class allows you to make a flower pot in two hours. At the end of the class, you’ll be bringing home not only a flower pot made with your own two hands but also a free plant.
